Israel with Brian Anthony Burke

Brian found out approximately 5 years ago that he has deep roots through his maternal grandmother, that he has Jewish ancestry. 1/4 Jewish from his maternal grandmother would enable Brian to claim dual citizenship in Israel. Just like Yahweh, Brian has a heart for Israel and the Jewish people. See below some meaningful pictures Brian has shared of his most recent visit to Israel.

The image above is of Brian Anthony Burke on a Friday evening of Shabbat nearing sundown, the weekly Jewish day of rest or spiritual oasis. Moving from Friday evening to Saturday night once three stars appear, it is a time of pause that prioritizes the sanctity of time over the pursuit of material space or productivity. Shabbat provides a weekly sanctuary to unplug, reflect, and reconnect with Spirit in the form of time. Shabbat is welcomed with reverence like an honored guest. Before sundown on Friday, homes are cleaned, tables are set, and elaborate meals are prepared in advance. Also, 18 minutes before sundown the Shabbat candles are lit while a blessing is recited, ushering in the peace of the Sabbath.

In the picture above, Brian was at this location during his most recent visit to Israel. This path is believed to have been walked by Jesus in the Garden of Gethsemane.

In the image above, Brian snapped this picture during a visit to Israel. This structure was built around a flat rock that is believed to have been the location where Jesus CHOSE to give his life for the salvation of the world. It is said this is where Luke describes Jesus sweating blood and water from the stress of the knowledge of what awaited him in the next several hours.

Pictured above is the flat rock, which the church was built around. It is believed to be the location that our Lord knelt, prayed and sweat blood as the time of redemption drew nigh. Brian mentions that he wept uncontrollably here at this site, as many others do, when they visit this holy shrine in Jerusalem.
